Dear Church,

On Sunday, June 23rd, 2024, we gave an update at all services and all campuses regarding our progress for Vision 2030. We are providing this email as a summary.

Vision 2030 is comprised of four parts:

Expanding Farmers Branch Campus
Establishing Frisco Campus
Extending our Network
Enriching our People

Also, we have a goal to raise $6M in capital in order to begin the process of bringing this vision into reality by 2030.

Here is our progress report.

EXPANDING FARMERS BRANCH CAMPUS

First, we are looking for ways to expand our Farmers Branch campus. We are exploring three routes to accomplish this goal.

LAND: We have looked for land to purchase near Farmers Branch. We considered the Mercer Parkway location. But it is not big enough to build the envisioned facility and parking. We will keep looking for land.
BUILDING: We have looked for church properties to accommodate our growing needs. We found one property but before we could inquire about its specifics, the property was bought by another party. We will keep checking the market.
RENOVATION: We have brought an architect to our current property to consider expanding it to fit our needs. We want more meeting rooms, a bigger lobby, and added seats in the sanctuary. We will receive his designs in a few weeks and keep the church informed.

Please continue to pray that the right avenue will become clear over the months to come. We know that our main campus is facing space constraints. We believe that God will make a way.

ESTABLISHING FRISCO CAMPUS

Second, we desire to establish the Frisco campus. By God’s grace we have found some land to build within Frisco.

Initially, we were planning to renovate a small, older church in The Colony. But after much prayerful deliberation and prophetic confirmation, we backed out of that agreement.

After that, we were connected to Friendship Church, which is another Church of God church, located in Frisco, TX. They own 21 acres of land and are not using the entire property.

Therefore, they have graciously opened the land for us in order to build a new facility for our church. The architect believes he can fit up to 15-17K square foot facility along with the necessary parking.

This is indeed a miracle!

Please continue to pray for Pr. Mark and the Friendship Church. May the Lord allow us to move out of our storefront by April 2024. This will allow us to save capital in order to build and complete phase one of the new facility by July 2026.

In the meantime, the Frisco campus will meet within Friendship Church or a local school until phase one is completed. Please pray for this entire process. God is making room for us in Frisco. Praise God.

EXTENDING OUR NETWORK

Third, we want to see God extend our network globally and locally through missions and church planting.

Globally, we want to support 300 missionaries by the end of the year. Currently, the church is graciously supporting 225 missionaries and their families. This is amazing! Praise God.
We also desire to support 150 orphans by the end of the year. Currently, the church is support 100 orphans. We thank and praise God for the generosity of the church. We know that we can meet these goals together.

Locally, we have been exploring the area of Argyle, TX as a potential place to launch a new church campus. We have met with local leaders and families to gauge its potential. So far, it looks incredibly promising!
Over the next year, we will be training and updating the church on our plans. We will go and pray in that area. We will meet other interested families. We will share the gospel.
We will build up a serve team comprising of our own church members and others that we meet with the hopes of launching that campus by July 2025.

God is extending our networks and bringing revival to this entire DFW metroplex, especially among the South Asian diaspora, and all over India. Let’s ask God to allow us to be part of His harvest.

ENRICHING OUR PEOPLE

Fourth, we want to see our people enriched through the Word of God in the presence of God. We want to see biblical literacy and prayerful dependence increase in our people.

Therefore, over the past year, we have launched several new ministries: METRO Rise, Acts Bible Study, and English Prayer. We have also launched a more organized Sports Ministry to reach out to more of our community.

We ask that you take part in these weekly meetings, along with all of our other discipleship groups (Zoom Prayer Meetings, Bloom, Sr. Connections, METRO Students) and LifeGroup gatherings.

Furthermore, we have decided to invest into our Sunday School ministry and take our Christian Education to a new level by introducing METRO Academy.

This new effort will bring pastors, professors, and thought leaders from around the world to our church via an online platform. You will be taught the scriptures and educated by some of the best.
Overtime, we hope to gain the ability to grant certifications through our relationships with Lee University, Faith Theological Seminary, Fuller Theological Seminary, and more.
This online education platform and experience will bring our Christian Education into the 21st century for all congregants.
Our first step will be to move 6-12th grade classes to Sunday afternoons online. This will begin on Sunday, August 25th. There will be attendance taken each week along with annual examinations.
After the classes for middle and high school have started, we will begin the groundwork for classes in Malayalam, English, etc. for adults as well. It will take time to build, but we hope to bring a world-class educational experience to our church by 2030.

Please pray for our Christian Education efforts in the days to come. God will not only revive us by His Spirit but He will strengthen us through His Word and His presence.

FINANCIAL UPDATE

Lastly, we want the church to know that have received $136,418.45 (to date) into the Vision2030 capital campaign.

We thank God for these received gifts. We thank God for pledges that are still being made. But we ask that you prayerfully consider giving to the future of the church.

The Pastors and the Board will continue to look for more ways to save money in order to increase our capital for potential opportunities to accomplish Vision2030.

Also, we are grateful for Friendship Church, as the land they are opening for us can be estimated at $3-5M in value.

God is opening His resources in various ways. But we need God’s people to continue to be generous and trust that we are building a church for generations to come.
